 Origin Story

Long before the stages of Marshall, NC, or the warm glow of a spotlight, in Boston Massachusettes a young Christopher M. Caruso found his first true calling not in a grand hall, but in the hum of an old record player. It was 1989, and while others might have been lost in the static of youth, Chris was already tuning into a different frequency. A guitar found its way into his hands, and with it, a raw, undeniable urge to play. He wasn't just learning notes; he was seeking the pulse, the rhythm that would eventually become his lifeblood.

His first foray into the vibrant chaos of live music came with Chaotic Past. The East Coast became their classroom, every dive bar and smoky club a new lesson in stagecraft. From 1989 to 1994, with two CDs and a 45 on Ace of Hearts Records under their belt, Chris honed more than just his playing; he discovered the intoxicating power of connection, the unspoken dialogue between musician and audience.
